The LaGrange County Plan Commission and County Commissioners have adopted LaGrange County Together as our vision for the future. This plan represents the insight of hundreds of residents who share their thoughts, ideas and hopes for the communities of LaGrange County. The adopted plan includes seventy-five recommendations organized around five topics of community interest: Land Use and Development, Local Economy, Natural Environment, Roadways and Infrastructure and Quality of Life.
As the process now shifts towards implementation, many partners will be needed to help support LaGrange County Together. Some actions, like the zoning ordinance update, development of a tourism strategy, and launch of a small business development program are already underway while others may require long- term efforts by the community.
