LaGrange County citizens do not have to run for an elected office to be active in local government.
Men and women can apply with LaGrange County Auditor Kathy Hopper to serve on boards and commissions that make decisions and guide progress in the county. Hopper’s office is in the LaGrange County Office Building, 114 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. She can be called at 499-6310.
Appointments are generally made by the end of each year. Applications are invited through the end of November.
