LaGrange County Boards

The LaGrange Coun­ty Plan Commission and County Commissioners have adopted LaGrange County Together as our vision for the future. This plan represents the insight of hundreds of residents who share their thoughts, ideas and hopes for the communities of LaGrange County. The adopted plan includes seventy-five rec­ommendations organized around five topics of community interest: Land Use and Development, Local Economy, Natural Environment, Roadways and Infrastructure and Quality of Life. LaGrange County citizens do not have to run for an elected office to be active in local government.Men and women can apply with LaGrange County Auditor Kathy Hopper to serve on boards and commissions that make decisions and guide progress in the county. Hopper’s office is in the LaGrange County Office Building, 114 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. She can be called at 499-6310.Appointments are generally made by the end of each year.
